Connecting GoHighLevel

How to install the integration, get every location into your account, keep the list clean, and fix connectivity when something drops.

Jump straight to what you are looking for.

1. Open the Integrations tab

Log in at the agency level and click Integrations in the left sidebar. This is the page that holds every connection, including GoHighLevel. Find the GoHighLevel card and press Connect.

Once the connection is live, that same card changes. It shows a connected badge with your locations and gives you two buttons: Reconnect and Disconnect. That connected state is your confirmation that everything went through.

2. Install through the popup

Pressing Connect opens a popup that installs the Sendify app into GoHighLevel. Follow the instructions in that popup exactly as they appear, approve the install, and choose where it goes. When the popup closes you land back on the Integrations page with the connection in place.

3. Agency level, not sub account level

If you are an agency owner, install at the agency level instead of into a single sub account. An agency level install means every location rolls up under one connection, so you are not repeating this setup for each client you onboard.

Installing into one sub account only connects that one location. Nothing is inherited by locations you create later, which turns onboarding into manual work every single time.

Single sub account

If you only run one location, install into that sub account. If you own the agency and install this way, new locations will not carry the connection forward and you will end up reconnecting one by one.

Result

One location connected. Nothing inherited by future locations.

4. Let the Marketplace app auto install

While you are setting this up, allow the Sendify Marketplace App to auto install into any new sub account you create under your agency. Every location you spin up from that point forward is added into the Subaccounts section of Sendify automatically, with no extra step from you or your client.

5. Connect locations and keep the list clean

Open Subaccounts and press Connect locations. Every location on your agency shows up here, including any that have not populated yet. This is the fastest way to pull in a location that is missing.

From that same section you can enable or disable each sub account. Disable the ones you are not actively running so your Subaccounts list only shows the locations that matter, which keeps day to day work far easier to navigate.

6. If something stops working

Any connectivity problem starts with the same fix: reconnect GoHighLevel from the Integrations tab. That refreshes the connection and clears most sync issues on its own.

There is one important side effect. Reconnecting resets the default telephony provider on that GoHighLevel sub account, so it needs switched back to Sendify afterward or calling will not route the way you expect. Only agency owners can switch this for sub accounts. If you are part of an agency, contact your agency owner and they can set it back.

The provider on a sub account is switched from the agency level. If you are part of an agency and do not have that access, contact your agency owner and they can set it back for you.

FAQ

Where do I connect GoHighLevel?

At the agency level, open the Integrations tab in the left sidebar and press Connect on the GoHighLevel card. A popup opens so you can install the app and follow the prompts.

How do I know it worked?

The card changes to a connected state and shows a badge with your connected locations, plus Reconnect and Disconnect buttons.

Should an agency owner connect at the agency level or the sub account level?

Agency level. Installing into a single sub account only connects that one location, so future locations will not carry the connection forward.

How do new locations get into Sendify automatically?

Allow the Sendify Marketplace App to auto install into any new sub account you create under your agency. Every new location then appears in your Subaccounts tab on its own.

A location is missing from my Subaccounts list. What do I do?

Open Subaccounts and press Connect locations. Anything that has not populated yet will show up there.

Can I hide sub accounts I am not using?

Yes. Enable or disable each one from the Subaccounts section so the list only shows the locations you actually run.

Messages or contacts stopped syncing. What is the first fix?

Reconnect GoHighLevel from the Integrations tab. That clears most connectivity problems.

Why did calling break after I reconnected?

Reconnecting resets the default telephony provider on that GoHighLevel sub account. Switch the provider back to Sendify and calling works again.

I cannot change the telephony provider. Who can?

Only agency owners can change it for a sub account. If you are part of an agency, contact your agency owner.
