Terms

AI agent
A configured Sendify AI: its prompt, rules, scenarios, knowledge, qualification questions, and automations. Read more
AI setter
An AI agent whose job is to qualify leads and book appointments.
AI handoff
An automation passing a conversation from one AI to another, for example to a confirmation agent. Read more
Agent status control
The control that turns the AI on, turns it off, or leaves it active without follow ups for a conversation. Read more
Automation
A trigger and action pair that runs when something happens in a conversation. Read more
Canonical fact
A fact that overrides conflicting information the AI may have picked up elsewhere. Read more
Contact
A person inside Sendify, with their number, fields, and tags.
Conversation
A thread between one line and one contact. Messages inside it are unlimited. Read more
Conversation phase
The stage a conversation is in, used to shape how the AI behaves at that point. Read more
Deferred
Messages the AI is intentionally holding before sending, because of configured business hours or an initial wait time. This only happens when the AI is handling the message, not on manually sent messages. Read more
Failed
An outbound message that could not be delivered. Read more
Follow-up reply rate
How often a follow up message earns a reply. Read more
GoHighLevel
The CRM most Sendify customers integrate with, where workflows, tags, calendars, and pipelines stay the source of truth. Read more
Human takeover
A representative taking a conversation over from the AI by disabling the AI for that lead. Read more
iMessage
Apple's messaging service. When a recipient can receive it, Sendify conversations are delivered through it. Read more
iMessage line
A real iPhone on a real cellular carrier that sends and receives your conversations. Read more
Initial message reply rate
How often your first message to a lead earns a reply. Read more
Lead
A person you are trying to reach or qualify.
Lead Configuration
How leads arriving over the API are distributed across representatives and lines. Primarily for Sendify Direct. Read more
Pending
Messages handed to a line and awaiting a delivery result. Only a concern if they stay pending indefinitely, which usually means the line is down and cannot reach the gateway. Read more
Prompt
The instruction defining who the AI is and how it should behave. Read more
Qualification question
Information the AI must collect before the conversation moves on. Read more
Queue
Messages waiting their turn to be sent, usually because the line is busy or has exceeded an hourly limit. Read more
Representative
The person a lead is assigned to, and usually the identity the AI messages as.
Response rate
The share of contacted leads who replied. Our recommended health benchmark is above roughly 20%. Read more
Rule
Something the AI must always or never do. Read more
Scenario
A defined situation and what the AI should do when it occurs. Read more
Sendify Direct
The native Sendify environment used mainly by teams integrating through the API alongside their own CRM. Read more
Smart follow-up
An automatic nudge sent when a lead goes quiet, on the timing you configure. Read more
SMS fallback
When a recipient cannot receive iMessage, the iPhone sends a normal carrier text instead. Automatic, with no extra Sendify fee. Read more
Spintext
Message variation that creates natural differences between outbound messages and lets you test different hooks. Read more
Strategy
The overall configuration of how an AI runs a conversation from first message to end goal. Read more
Sub account
A client or business level account, in GoHighLevel or in Sendify Direct.
Tag
A label on a contact, used for grouping and for firing automations.
Unique lead
A single person processed through Sendify. The unit Sendify usage is billed on. Read more
