Why is my AI not booking appointments?
A conversation that runs well but never lands an appointment is almost always a calendar or configuration gap rather than a writing problem.

Run these checks
| Check | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Calendar connection | Calendar nodes |
| Selected calendar | Confirm the AI points at the calendar you expect, not a default |
| Availability | Open the calendar and check there are bookable slots in the window offered |
| Booking configuration | Building a booking agent |
| Rep and calendar routing | Confirm the assigned representative maps to the calendar being offered |
| AI status | Agent status and takeover |
| Automations | Automations guide |
The conversation side
If the calendar is fine, look at the conversation
- Is the AI ever actually asking to book, or only answering questions?
- Is the end goal configured so booking is the objective?
- Does the lead have to finish qualification before booking unlocks?
- Is the conversation trigger for booking ever being met?
- Did the lead get disqualified earlier than you intended?
Qualification gates are the most common surprise here. If booking only unlocks after every qualification question is answered, a lead who dodges one question never reaches the calendar. See qualification questions.
Still stuck
Run one test conversation of your own that goes all the way to a booking. If your test books and real leads do not, the difference is in the conversation, not the setup.
