iMessage vs SMS delivery

Sendify sends from real iPhones. If the lead can receive iMessage, they do. If they cannot, the phone sends a normal text, exactly like any iPhone user texting an Android friend.

The fallback is automatic

You do not pick a channel per lead and you do not connect a second messaging provider. The phone makes the call at send time, the same way your own iPhone does when you text a friend on Android.

Write for both

Because a message may land as a normal text, keep messages short and skip anything that only reads well in a blue bubble. Short conversational lines work everywhere.

No separate SMS fee

Sendify's usage model is based on leads processed, not messages sent. A lead who receives normal texts for the entire conversation costs the same as a lead who receives iMessage throughout.

FAQ

Do I need to set up an SMS provider for the fallback?

No. The phone sending your messages is a real iPhone on a real carrier plan, so the carrier text path is already there. There is nothing for you to connect.

Does a lead receiving SMS instead of iMessage cost me more?

No. Sendify does not charge an extra texting fee because a recipient got a normal text rather than iMessage. You pay for leads processed.

Does the AI still work over SMS?

Yes. The same AI keeps running the conversation regardless of which way the message was delivered.

My lead has an iPhone but received a normal text. Why?

iMessage has to be available on their side. If it is switched off, the device is offline for a long stretch, or the number is not registered with iMessage, the phone falls back to a carrier text.

Can I see which leads are on iMessage and which are on SMS?

Yes. Your analytics show how many recipients are receiving iMessage and how many are receiving SMS.
