Why we share the real number

Some companies quote 99% or 100% delivery. The honest truth is that no messaging platform hits 100%, because some phone numbers simply cannot receive a message. A 94% delivery rate is a very strong number, and we keep working to push it higher.

iMessage delivery reliability

Over the last 365 days, 94% of the messages sent through Sendify were delivered. The 6% that did not arrive were not one single problem. They failed for many different reasons, and almost all of them come from the lead's side of the conversation.

Why the other 6% fail

A message fails when the lead's phone cannot receive it. The most common reasons are a phone number that is no longer active, a phone that cannot receive messages, a number that blocked messages, or a lead who opted out of messages earlier. Every one of these is covered in the message failures guide.

The rest of the failures come from normal technical issues on our side: a device or connection that briefly went down, or a message that got stuck in the handoff between systems. This is the small mix of human and technical error that every messaging platform carries, and we are always working to shrink it.

What a failure does not mean

A failed message does not mean iMessage stopped working, and it does not affect your other leads. The failure is logged in your analytics, your line keeps sending, and your other conversations continue normally.

AI reliability

Reliability and accuracy are two different things. Reliability asks a simple question: when the AI was supposed to fire, did it fire? Over the last 365 days, the answer was yes 99% of the time. There were no failures of the AI refusing to go through, and no hiccups where the AI failed to act when it should have.

The rare miss almost always traced back to setup, like a CRM connection that had been disconnected or an automation that was switched off. Both are covered in the AI not responding guide.

How accurate are AI answers?

We tell every client the same thing: AI is going to be about 95% accurate at the most. You can never get AI to 100% accuracy, because an AI model can still misunderstand a message here and there, and it depends on how the agent was built. Any company promising a 100% accurate AI is not being honest with you.

The good news is that this improves on its own. AI models get better over time, so the same agent built on a newer model gets closer and closer to 100%. It is more likely than not that AI never fully crosses that threshold, which is exactly why Sendify gives you full visibility into every conversation, human takeover, and the tools to train your AI from real conversations.

Accuracy is in your control too

The clearer your primary objectives, knowledge base, and canonical facts are, the closer your agent gets to its ceiling. Read the AI building blocks guide to see which pieces move the number.

FAQ

What percentage of Sendify messages get delivered?

Over the last 365 days, 94% of messages sent through Sendify were delivered. The remaining 6% failed for reasons like an inactive phone number or a lead who opted out, not because iMessage stopped working.

How reliable is the AI?

Over the last 365 days, the AI fired correctly 99% of the time. When an automation was supposed to run, it ran. The rare miss came from setup issues like a disconnected CRM, which you can read about in the troubleshooting guides.

How accurate are AI answers?

At the most, AI answers are about 95% accurate. AI models can still misunderstand a message here and there, so no AI is ever 100% accurate. Models improve over time, so that number keeps getting closer to 100%, but it will most likely never cross it.

What causes a message to fail?

Almost all failures come from the lead's side of the conversation: a phone number that is no longer active, a phone that cannot receive messages, a full message block, or a lead who opted out earlier.

What happens when a message fails?

The failure is logged in your analytics so you can see it, and your other leads are not affected. Read the troubleshooting guides to learn what each status means and what, if anything, you should do.

What can I do to keep my delivery rate high?

Keep your AI sounding human, keep messages under 160 characters, use one to three follow ups at most, and respect opt outs right away. Every best practice that protects a line is covered in the iMessage guide.
